About the Intentional Career Framework

The Intentional Career Framework grew out of a realization many professionals face during a job search. When you are not clearly focused on what you want from your next role, it becomes very easy to apply to a wide range of positions that may or may not truly align with your experience, strengths, or long term direction. I found myself doing exactly that, sending applications to roles that were adjacent to my background but not always the best match for the work I had actually built my career around.

At a certain point, it became clear that the challenge was not effort or motivation. The real issue was clarity. Without defined criteria for what makes a role the right fit, the job search can quickly become reactive, with applications driven by availability rather than alignment.

With years of experience in marketing strategy and messaging, I began approaching the job search the same way I would approach a complex campaign. I started building a system that defined exactly what I was looking for in a role and translated that into language that clearly connected my experience to what employers were actually seeking. The goal was to make sure my story aligned with the job description, passed automated screening filters, and resonated with hiring teams, while still remaining completely accurate to the work I had done.

That process evolved into the Intentional Career Framework. The framework helps professionals define their ideal role, build clear alignment filters, and use AI as a practical AI job search tool to evaluate opportunities quickly. Instead of reacting to every posting that appears, the system allows you to focus your time and energy on roles that genuinely match your experience and the kind of work you want to do next.
